Poor Little Ammon

During Christmas break Ammon starting getting sick. We did our best to help him get better but it just wasn't working and he kept getting worse. On New Years Eve we took him in to the doctor and after screaming and crying everytime the nurse or doctor came in the room, we found out that he more than likely has RSV. The doctor sent us home with Albuterol and a nebulizor and told us to give him a treatment every 4 hours. Needless to say we spent our New Years Eve at home with our sick little baby trying to get him to sit calmly as we gave him his treatment. The doctor gave us a mask that has an animal face on it but of course Ammon won't keep it on so luckily we can just use the other attachment and hold it in front of his face. It looks like he hates it but depending on the day he does pretty well with it.
I took him back to the doctor and he said he's still a little concerned so I have to keep giving Ammon the medicine and I'll be taking him back in to see if he's getting better. He wakes up about 3 or 4 times at night but besides that he seems to be doing better during the day just as long as we get a nap in. Hopefully I'll have good news for everyone after I take him to the doctor.

ah - that brings back so many memories of when Nic had to do that as a baby. it's quite an adventure getting them to suck that air in isn't it? Good luck!

Oh Jules! I feel terrible for little Ammon! Talon had something very similar when he was a baby... so I totally know what you are going through! Let me know if you need a break or something - I would be happy to babysit! :)

I am sorry to bother you, but i have a question...I went to school with Richard, my name is Jennie Boothe I am cousins with Ross Boothe. Anyway, I am currently trying to set up a blog for my friends and I to keep in touch, I got to yours through Liz Rosenbaums and thought this looked so fun. My question is, how do i add the family and friends list like you have on your blog etc. I can't get mine to do anything but just post comments. Tell Richard hi from Jennie Boothe...we went to elementary school together and he was in my stake before his parents moved. Tell him he can go to our blog, it's not much, but it is what my family is up to. Thewilsons711.blogspot.com

thank you and sorry for bugging you.
