Pet Shopping

We went pet shopping for Ammon yesterday. We thought we had a pretty good idea of what we wanted or atleast of what we didn't want. We knew we didn't want a dog, cat, bird, or anything creepy that slithers or crawls. So what were we looking for? Well, on the top of the list were turtles, ginea pigs, or maybe a ferrit. Then we found out how much $ we would be into this new pet and that they require alot of maintenance...(you have to feed them everyday and take them out of the cages to play.) So 6 hours later and after multiple pet stores we ended up in Draper with our new pet.

camping

i know its been a long time. my computer has not been letting me access my blog. so here i am at the studio. i found a few pictures on my moms camera and decided to do a post.

over Memorial Day we went up to "Crystal Mountain/Indian Ridge/the Property", whatever you want to call it. its Richards family's property. it was fun to finally get up there. i was all ready to camp, and of course like almost every time we go, it rained. we still had lots of fun. my parents and the Davis', some good friends, went up together. we played games, road 4-wheelers, and just hung out. here are some pictures of my cute kids:)

since it was a nice day(finally!), richard thought he'd better get the lawn mowed before it was wet and couldn't. so i just figured ammon would play in the house while i made dinner, but instead richard took him outside to help him. ammon was in heaven! if you could only see how excited he was to sit on his dads lap and mow the lawn. richard is such a good dad, and ammon loves to be with him.

look at my flowers! i love it! and my grass is so green. thanks to richard, he works hard to keep our yard looking nice.

chop! chop!

So after many days of debate I finally got myself to take Ammon in for a haircut. I've wanted to do this for a while but his hair was so pretty.:) But that was exactly the problem. It's pretty. It was time for Ammon to become a little boy, and that he definitely is.
~BEFORE~

~AFTER~

So I went down to Naturally Yours to see if they had any openings and I was bummed cause the girl that was suppose to be in was home with a sick little boy. So I turned and walked out thinking I guess I'll try again tommorrow(hopefully I still dare). But as I was leaving I decided if I don't do this now then I probably won't make it back in. So I headed down to Image Works knowing for sure I would get in.
Ammon did so well, of course he had to sit on my lap, but he was perfect the whole time. And I have to say I'm really please with how it all turned out.

A Work in Progress

We decided to redo Ammons room

Not half bad for not having a clue what we were doing

That was the easy part, now we just have to agree how to decorate the rest of the room

searching for a name

here i am, it's 12:30am and i'm sitting here at my computer hoping that if i search hard enough thru everyone's blog, that someone will have the perfect name for my new little boy. i should be in bed sleeping, especially because i average about 3 nightly bathroom trips and getting up to take ammon back to bed(that's a whole different story that wears me out just thinking about it). but here i sit looking at every blog possible hoping that i'll be inspired to find the right name.
my time is starting to run out. only 10 more weeks left, and we're lucky, maybe less(lets cross our fingers that this labor will be even faster and easier than the last). if anyone has any inspiration on what the new little boy should be named please feel free to leave a comment.

Happy Birthday Ammon!

Our little Ammon turned 2 on Jan. 7th. He loved every minute of his little party. He blew out the candle all by himself, started opening presents all by himself, and had so much fun running around and playing with his cousins.
Richard and I have been so blessed these last two years. Ammon has been such a sweet little boy, and as he continues to grow and get older he is always keeping us entertained. I'm so grateful for his sweet spirit and the happiness he has brought into my life.
