Struggling with the Blog!

Where to start? Okay, so I know it's really easy to make a post, but somehow I'm struggling to find the time to sit down and do it. I always want to put pictures in and that just takes to much time for the beginner. Anyway, since it's been a few weeks, I figured I would just post an update.

So Ammon is doing much better. I took him in on his birthday(Jan. 7) The doctor said his lungs sound better but unfortunately he has an ear infection. Of course! The good news is that it's been a week and a half so now he really is doing better. Just a little cough here and there. On a good note. We had a birthday party for him and it turned out to be a great night! I think he was a little overwhelmed for his first party. But it was fun. Hopefully I'll get a picture or two for everyone to see.

As for me and Richard. Well, just when you think work is going to slow down, things pick up and get really busy. We really have been blessed. Just when I start to get a little worried about having work, the Lord blesses us. And I truly am grateful, even if I do have to work everyday. There will come a day when all the hard work will pay off! As far as dance, it's picking up too. We have our first performances this week. And things don't really stop from here on out. It's rewarding to see our girls progress and exciting to see how much fun they have sharing their amazing talent to dance. If you noticed there's a blog for the studio. I started that about a year ago and I haven't done anything with it. I'm working on it. I'm slow on my own blog so I'll be slow on it also. But I've got some good pics. to put on it. Check it every once and a while. I think you'll be impressed with our dancers.

So as for my blog...well, I'll try my best. Keep checking. Eventually you'll find a new post!

Poor Little Ammon

During Christmas break Ammon starting getting sick. We did our best to help him get better but it just wasn't working and he kept getting worse. On New Years Eve we took him in to the doctor and after screaming and crying everytime the nurse or doctor came in the room, we found out that he more than likely has RSV. The doctor sent us home with Albuterol and a nebulizor and told us to give him a treatment every 4 hours. Needless to say we spent our New Years Eve at home with our sick little baby trying to get him to sit calmly as we gave him his treatment. The doctor gave us a mask that has an animal face on it but of course Ammon won't keep it on so luckily we can just use the other attachment and hold it in front of his face. It looks like he hates it but depending on the day he does pretty well with it.
I took him back to the doctor and he said he's still a little concerned so I have to keep giving Ammon the medicine and I'll be taking him back in to see if he's getting better. He wakes up about 3 or 4 times at night but besides that he seems to be doing better during the day just as long as we get a nap in. Hopefully I'll have good news for everyone after I take him to the doctor.

Friends

Over Christmas break we were able to get together with some of our friends. Since Chad & Brittney were here visiting from California we had them and Jared and Katie come over for a play day. Richard got Rock Band for Christmas so we set it up in our basement and he and the guys had a little rock out session while the girls visited and played with the kids. After a little while of babysitting we decided it was our turn to rock out so we went down and played a couple of songs. It was a fun day, and we enjoyed being able to visit and catch up on life. We are grateful to have such great friends.
