i'm back and i promise to try harder....

isn't it really pathetic when you get online daily, check a thing or two, stop by some blogs, and.......never update your own blog. i know can you believe that someone could do that? well i was online today and notice my sister jaimi did a quick update and thought 'if she has time, well then gosh darn so do i.' besides that i sit and think about all the memories i'm losing by not taking pictures and definitely not jotting them down. this really is the best place for me to do that. so...here it goes, my first attempt back to blogging.

9 months and WALKING!!!

nothing slows this kid down. he crawled at 5 1/2 months, walked at 9 months, and i'm sure soon enough he'll be talking. now if we can only teach him to go down the stairs and not stand up and bounce each time he goes up a stair.

Ethan is such a happy little boy. he is always making us smile and keeps us on our toes. what a special blessing he is in our lives.

Pet Shopping

We went pet shopping for Ammon yesterday. We thought we had a pretty good idea of what we wanted or atleast of what we didn't want. We knew we didn't want a dog, cat, bird, or anything creepy that slithers or crawls. So what were we looking for? Well, on the top of the list were turtles, ginea pigs, or maybe a ferrit. Then we found out how much $ we would be into this new pet and that they require alot of maintenance...(you have to feed them everyday and take them out of the cages to play.) So 6 hours later and after multiple pet stores we ended up in Draper with our new pet.
